Please, join to the testing of perspective drivers.
DTA
Roderick Klein (Mensys) invites you to testing of DTA - the beta release of the new Data Transport Agent (DTA) for eComStation. It is meant to improve the ability to handle datastreams in eCS, DOS and Win-OS/2 sessions. In addition it will enable virtual DOS sessions to play sound via a generic sounddriver, effectively bypassing the need for soundcard specific DOS drivers.
Please download it from the 'download' section for registered eCS Customers. Make sure you read the accompanying readme.txt!
Win32Prn
Vit Timchishin needs testers for win32prn project. This project is for running win32 (MS Windows 2000 to be exact) printer drivers under OS/2. Requirements for testers:
- You need a printer to test it on
- You need living MS Windows 2000 to install drivers (to copy them to OS/2 after).
- You need Odin to run this thing
Current limitations of the project:
- B&W printing only.
- All printer properties must be presetup on Win2K (you may have multiple sets of properties presetup and choosen on OS/2)
Current printers tested on: Canon LBP-810 (latest drivers from Canon)

Our Supported hardware database is growing continually. Visitors publish reports about servers, notebooks, personal assistants and peripheral devices.
When filling a report about new device, don't forget mention URL with a photo of device (important for mouses, mobile phones), comment about usage in business (for servers, printers and digital cameras), technical characteristics, because all this increases effectiveness of the database.

IBM recently (December 2002) updated the OS/2 PCM Compatibility Testkit, a software package that lets personal computer hardware manufacturers (PCMs) perform self-testing to be listed in IBM's list of compatible systems. This is for testers who want to ensure that their hardware products are compatible with OS/2 Warp.
Thanks to Dr. Martin R. Hadam for the info.
