I have installed a Lacie (inside it's a SAMSUNG drive) ~500GB External USB drive on which I have created ~250GB NTFS partition and ~250GB JFS partition. Neither of these partitions can be seen by eCS 1.2 fp 4, even though I have installed all of the USB drivers which eCS_MT offers me. eCS 2.0 RC3 sees them just fine... in fact that's what I used to do the JFS format, although I had to use PMFormat because the command line format hung the system up.
