eComStation and ThinkPad

Some questions to the users:

Some models of ThinkPad notebooks are equipped with expensive displays with deep resolution. For example, 12.1" display may work in 1400x1050 mode (145 ppi). As result it's very pleasant to watch photos and HD-videos on such displays.
What about eComStation, is it ready for high resolution displays? Seems that eCS should be equipped with huge icons, dialog windows should be improved.

Пользователь не авторизован Eirik Romstad 2012-04-24 13:53:09	One of the most important important issues to fix (not only for Thinkpad users) is to get FnFX keys working under ACPI, in particular FnF7 to allow for using eCS directly when presenting. Suspend and resume would also be nice, but is less important given the razor fast boot and shutdown under ACPI 3.19 / 3.20. I know the ACPI team is working on these (and other) issues, and I am really looking forward to a fully operational ACPI. The other item that is high on the wish list for many laptop users is a MultiMAC solution for wireless. The main success criterion for eCS is that the base works (Fn-keys, wired and wireless net access, USB for new devices). Suitable software is available for most issues.
